As a professional athlete it is a prerequisite to have good co-operative partners. Without them I would not have been able to get as far as I have come, and I would not have been able to do triathlon full time. I´ll divide my co-operative partners into two categories; Sponsors and Partners.

Sponsors:

ECCO
When I ran my almost magical (at least to me) marathon at Challenge Roth 2010 in a time of 2:39 hours it was the evidence for me that the ECCO Biom shoes actually make me run faster. Until then I only knew that they felt good and looked good. Testing with a high speed camera has later also showed me that I spend less energy per stride in those compared to the shoes I used before. I also help ECCO by taking part in developing new and even better Biom shoes for myself and all other runners.



Specialized
Since 2010 I have been working this world leading manufacturer of bikes and accessories such as helmets, shoes, saddles, apparel, wheels, tires, pumps, tools etc. With the initiation of the Specialized Racing Triathlon Team in 2010 we have availed of World Class support at the races from a experienced crew of mechanics, media people and physiotherapists. In addition Bobby Behan, who is the man in charge of the Triathlon Team, is totally committed to the job. I couldn’t dream of a better company to work with.

Craft
The Swedish sportswear specialist and my clothing sponsor since 2010 does an amazing job designing the ideal apparels for both training and racing. Craft designs my race gear in co-operation with my other sponsors, and makes sure that I can perform optimally with highly functional clothes that match my bike, helmet and shoes. Compared to other clothing brands I have previously used, Craft definitely comes lighter and with a better fit for a slim guy like me.

Playitas
Playitas Sports Resort on the Canary Island of Fuerteventura has been my second home for a few years now, and I have done several camps there before finally moving there with my family for the majority of 2011.

Hydration and nutrition play a very important role in my training and racing alike. Since 2009 I have been swimming in blueseventy wetsuits, speed suits and goggles, and they have certainly made me faster. For many years I was claiming to be such a good technical swimmer that I didn’t get much benefit out of wearing a full suit, but since trying blueseventy I must admit that I do shave off a few seconds every lap with the suits.



Zipp
Zipp develop the fastest and by far the most popular wheels on the market. At the Ironman World Championships 2010 more than half of the wheels on the course were Zipp. My favorite wheel set so far has been the Sub9 disc and the 1080 front wheel, but I am very excited to try the new 2011 Firecrest wheels!

Sram
Bike components of the highest possible caliber that help me ride faster and more smoothly. Especially Srams R2C (Return to Centre) bar end shifters are really important to me when racing.
